DOLPHIN TOUR
The warm waters off the southern coast of Zanzibar, particularly around Kizimkazi, are home to resident pods of bottlenose and Indo-Pacific humpback dolphins.
A dolphin tour takes you out by traditional boat into the open Indian Ocean in the early morning, when the sea is calm and the dolphins are most active.
The Experience
As your skipper scans the water for movement, you may encounter pods of twenty or more dolphins swimming, playing, and feeding in their natural habitat.
On calm days, you may have the opportunity to slip into the water and snorkel alongside them — an experience that is both gentle and exhilarating.
