Tarangire National Park Tanzania

Overview

Tarangire National Park is one of Tanzania’s most beautiful and wildlife-rich parks, located in the northern safari circuit. The park is famous for its giant baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse landscapes.

During the dry season, thousands of animals migrate into Tarangire in search of water from the Tarangire River. This creates spectacular wildlife viewing opportunities as elephants, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and many predators gather in large numbers.

The park is also a paradise for bird lovers with more than 500 bird species recorded. With fewer crowds compared to other parks, Tarangire offers a peaceful and authentic safari experience.
