Slow Journeys are created for travellers who want to experience Tanzania and East Africa without rushing from one highlight to the next. Every itinerary in this collection lasts twelve days or longer, allowing landscapes, wildlife and local encounters to unfold at a more natural pace.
Longer stays create room for quieter game drives, relaxed mornings and thoughtful connections between regions. You can follow the changing character of the Serengeti, pair remote wilderness areas, or balance safari days with time beside the Indian Ocean.
These journeys can still be tailored around your dates, interests and comfort. The defining idea is simple: protect enough time to travel deeply, rest well and be present for the moments that cannot be scheduled.

Slow Journeys are itineraries of twelve days or longer. The extra time allows for a more relaxed pace, longer stays and fewer rushed connections between destinations.

Not necessarily. A Slow Journey can cover more regions, but it can also spend more time in fewer places. We balance variety with enough time to experience each destination properly.

Yes. A longer safari can finish on Zanzibar or another Indian Ocean coast, giving you time to rest after the wildlife portion without shortening the safari itself.

Yes. We can shorten transfer days, arrange private guiding, include rest days and select accommodation around the comfort and energy levels of your group.
